megnatic connection
for our first experiment it worked out really well the magnet on the end shoot out I wish we could have taped it and slowed it down so that we could see it happen. We where able to learn how magnetic connections work out.
the other eximent it also worked really well. the magnets diconected and the the magent swong back and connected back to the magnet

A mesure of sound
every time we wound the wire around the nail the magnetic force went down some. the wire would get really hot and it burned trought the tape a couple times

motors: a magnetic movement
in magnetic movement we learned when we put a pin in a pass thingy. when the pin went in the straw the pin would want to get out of the straw as fast as possible. it would like jump out of the straw. we also learned how to start up a motor because we connnected both the sides to make a surcate.

heat shealds
today we did heat shealds. for my first on I put the lunimim around the bult and screw. then the other thingy stuff. and the screw was showing at first and it only wnr 25 secs then i covered the screw and it went 25. then i conected the thingy stuff to the screw so the luminum wasnt touching the scrw

robox
We finshed our robot today and it was to heavy t first but then we fixed it a couple time so now it can go forward with out tipping over. It has the claws that will be able to grab the thing up. I think the only thing that might go wrong is that the parachute wont land on the first step, or the robot will tip over if its to heavy. But Ithink next class we will be able to prefect everything so not to many things could go wrong.

We started right off the bat and got a lot of things done. We where able to get a lot of the arm done. But I think its going to be to heavy. I hope when we have to pick the thing up our robot won't tip over. Our robot I think will have a cran. But I'm not sure if the cran will be able to pick every thing up. So we might use the claws instead.
Robox
We didn't have very much time to start our robot but we did the bod done and we started on the arm. We had a group meeting and decided that Rhys and I should be doing the robox. We assigned jobs so that we knew who was going everything. I think it will be kinda hard to do the mission but I think if the parachute lands fine that we will be able to get the stuff to the place they need to.

Robotex
For the robotex it was hard to get the robot done. I used the two things to get the marker up. I put my robot arms that picked up the marker. I put the scooper connected to a longer part then it connected to the motor. It then had a longer part that connected to a smaller part that went down. When it went down it connected to the motor . Because it connected to the motor it would go up and down and back and forth. It connected to the T-mikes part. Her part had a body then it had two wheels on the back and a foot with the wheel on the bottom. My part then went onto the top of hers and it was connected to a piece that split in half for each part of mine to stick on. I had one of the controllers that didn't use so I had to make be for the video. and it wouldn't load so pooh!!!

Recovery System
when we did the recovery system i thought it was going to be easy. It wasn't it took really long to be able to finish the parachute. I thought it was hard to be able to get the parachute good but when I finished it, it stayed up for about a couple seconds. Then it started to fall. It wasn't that great but I thought it was fine.

lego robotics
it was hard to make it do what you want it to.the robot would usually go in different directions. I wish Thalia was there longer because then i might have been able to have moved the rock. the cart would go strait for to long then turn in the wrong direction.

motion detecting
I though the motion detecting lab was fun. I had a good time walking back and forth. It was sort of hard though having to answer the questions during the hole thing. I thought that it was hard answering the last couple of questions because I didn't really get the questions right.

diving into a pool
It would take you longer to get into the pool. this is because there is less gravity pulling down on you. all so when you get into the water you will still be going slower. It would be harder to get to the bottom of the pool. As soon as you got to the bottom and you push off you would go faster upwards because there isn't as much gravity pushing you back down.

Romote repaires
it was a hard mission because we couldn't talk. We had to type everything so we wheren't able to talk to every one at once. I learned that it is very hard to try to talk to poeple with out talking to them. You didn't know what the other members of my
team where saying. but I think we did good at getting it partly done.

moon launch
it was hard to make the ship go up to the top of the wall. It would only go one inch then stop. I think we should have had more balloons and less other things. Having the money amount was difficult because we where hesitant about what we used.

Bernoulli's Law
For my experiment of bernoulli's law I used a glove and a plastic water bottle. You cut open the bottom of the water bottle and stick the glove there facing into the water bottle. You then can suck the air from the bottle and the glove will expand and fill up the area of the bottle.
